| Where learning becomes art. |
| Artist’s Statement My work explores the use of clay, form, texture, pattern, color, and surface. Southwestern Native American pottery was an early influence on my shapes and forms, as well as firing and glazing techniques that bring their own music to the creative dance. Encouraged to "find my own voice," I have discovered that my "voice" is one of exploration, the "what if" where change is the only constant and mistakes are the forerunners of success. It is my desire to provide others with a touch of the same pleasure as I get from creating simple but elegant pieces of art. Bio As a business, organizational and educational analyst, teacher, consultant and author, I stumbled into clay some years back as a new medium for exploration and expression. Once I immersed myself in it, I never looked back, spending the majority of my time learning the craft and expressing my own sensibilities through it.
